Consignor is looking for a Technical Consultant who can help strengthen its position as a leading provider of Delivery Management systems in the UK and the rest of the world. The Technical Consultants’ role will be based out of our UK office, and report into the Head of Operations UK, but the job also involves solving tasks for other group offices. As Senior Technical Consultant, you will enter Consignor’s total consultant base, working closely with sales and customer service in Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Romania, China and UK.

The main duties of the Technical Consultant include:

  • Implementation of Consignors software solution for new or existing customers
  • Project management of customer installations and integrations
  • Coordination and technical discussions with customers, ERP / WMS providers and other suppliers to the customer
  • Consulting and training with new and existing customers
  • Phone and email support
  • Possibility of organising Consignor customer and vendor courses
  • Administrative tasks associated with the operation and construction of new customers
  • Configuration of Consignor installations and integrations with web shops and WMS / CRM systems
  • Provide technical support, perform trouble-shooting functions and resolve customer issues
  • Daily dialogue with colleagues in sales, administration and development
  • Transverse assistance to other job functions within the organisation

We expect you to:

  • Experience of working with installation and integration of software
  • Strong technically and has experience in Windows, networks, printers and web & mobile app based technologies. Ideally you will have knowledge of SQL, webservices, and XML integration
  • Structured in accordance with the routines in place at Consignor
  • Are enterprising, outgoing and good at taking control of projects and reach the goal/objective
  • Can stay in control in stressful situations and are prepared to take responsibility and make an extra effort when needed
  • Positive, good outlook and take pride in solving customer challenges


  • ITIL
  • Have experience in logistics and transport companies
  • Working knowledge of e-fulfilment, supply chain and carrier operations.
